- Plant cells have a few designs not found in different eukaryotes. Specifically, organelles called chloroplasts permit plants to catch the energy of the Sun in energy-rich particles; cell dividers permit plants to have inflexible designs as fluctuated as wood trunks and flexible leaves; and vacuoles permit plant cells to change size. Without the cell wall, the plant cell will collapse. Uptake of nutrients would be tough and the cell would be without any protection. Hence the plant would eventually die. Without chloroplasts, plants would not have the option to get their energy from the sun and would stop to make due, leaving us without food.
