Answer:
That's because all the parts of your body need the oxygen gas that you take in with the air that you breathe. When you breathe in, your respiratory system brings the oxygen into your body so that blood can deliver the oxygen to your cells. When you breathe out, you expel a gas called carbon dioxide.
The water we drink is absorbed by the intestines, and circulated throughout the body in the form of body fluids such as blood. These perform various functions that keep us alive. They deliver oxygen and nutrients to the cells, and take away waste materials, which are then eliminated with urination.
Any remaining nutrients and some water are absorbed as peristaltic waves move the chyme into the ascending and transverse colons. This dehydration, combined with peristaltic waves, helps compact the chyme. The solid waste formed is called feces
Excretion is the process of removing wastes from the body. Organs of the excretory system include the kidneys, large intestine, skin, and lungs.
They make a substance called melanin (say: MEL-uh-nun). Melanin gives skin its color. The darker your skin is, the more melanin you have. When you go out into the sun, these cells make extra melanin to protect you from getting burned by the sun's ultraviolet, or UV, rays.
