Equality cannot, a will never, be achieved Some people will always be more talented, more energetic, or born into more advantageous positions than others. Some people will always be born without particular gifts, be unambitious or hindered by circumstances of their birth. Equality is a Marxist myth. Attempts to construct societies in which there is equality always end the same way; the mass of the people are poor, except for their leaders, who appropriate the wealth. Beware of Democrats preaching equality. It’s a guaranteed ticket to poverty.
None. The “struggle” for “equality” is just bs. It’s just envy and greed trying to masquerade as some supposedly “noble cause” when it is nothing but envy and greed. People don’t “suffer” from inequality. People “suffer” from not having stuff. The only thing people “suffer” from regarding inequality is greed and envy and the emotional indignation that someone else has more than someone else (meaning more than they themselves have). I am not envious and greedy, so I don’t feel some emotional desire to “fix” “inequality”. People like Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos aren’t wealthy because they somehow “took” wealth from others. They are wealthy because they created and provided vast societal wealth and prosperity to the people. The problem is that people just assume that societal wealth and prosperity just exists and the economy is just divvying up all that wealth that just exists.
So if someone has more wealth that someone else, it must be because they took more of that wealth that’s just laying around than other people, thus depriving others of that wealth just laying around. This is bs. It doesn’t work that way. Wealth and prosperity must be created. And the reason people like Steve and Jeff are wealthy is because they created the societal wealth and prosperity that benefits society. You do realize that as a consequence of human diversity we’re all different, so a diversity of inputs creates a diversity of outcomes. That’s obvious to anyone with a rational functioning brain. So, there’s absolutely nothing to ‘fix’, certainly not to ‘prioritize’. You get that, right? Otherwise, nice virtue signaling statement couched as a question. You may now feel good about yourself.
