Stereotypes are beliefs or expectations about characteristics associated with a
group of people. The type of expectation can vary, it can be, for example, an
expectation about the group's ability, interest, or personality. It also includes fixed
idea on culture, age and gender-based characteristics that many people have about
the group that may often be untrue or partly untrue.
Directions: Write S on the space provided if the idea is stereotype and write R if it
is a reality.
1. Girls are only concerned on physical appearance.
2. Only slim women can become models.
3. Old people are boring.
4. Some teenagers are rebels.
5. All African Americans are at sports.
6. Filipinos are always late.
7. Chinese people always eat rice.
8. Girls are not good at sports.
9. Some children don't like vegetables.
10. Guys are messy and unclean.​
