Whale sharks live in tropical seas. In the Philippines, many whale sharks
inhabit the seas of Sorsogon Province. They measure from 11 to 12 meters long.
They weigh more than 45000 pounds. Whale sharks are gentle giants. They do not
harm humans. In the months of November to June, whale sharks gather in Donsol
Bay to feed. This unique phenomenon attracts many tourists to Donsol.
