A desktop computer with an original price of $4800, was being sold at a 35% discount. If 5 people were to divide the cost of the desktop computer equally among themselves, how much would each of them have to pay?


A primary school textbook weighs 0.2 kg while a secondary school textbook weighs 0.5 kg. A bookstore owner decides to order 1200 books. The number of secondary school textbooks ordered makes up 20% of the total number of books ordered. What is the difference in the combined mass of the secondary school textbooks and the combined mass of the primary school textbooks?


Samuel wants to buy a refrigerator. He calculates that he will be able to purchase it by using exactly all of the money which he has deposited in the bank a year ago along with the interest generated from it. The bank's annual interest rate is 7%. He had deposited $500. How much does the refrigerator cost?

Jane and Jean go to shop for clothes. Planning to buy a dress each, Jane gives Jean $20 so that they will have the same amount of money. They have an average of $94. How much money does Jean have at first?

A mystery number is equivalent to the sum of 63 tens 13 tenths 93 hundredths and 102 thousandths. Find the mystery number.
