The water kept under the sunlight gets heated up because it is in direct contact with the sun and as we know boiling causes evaportaion this means that the water changes into vapour state and then form clouds .. but the water kept under the tree also gets evaportaed as there is heat and low humidity in the surrounding it takes more time then that which has the direct contact with the sun but both gets evaporated
