a) Layers: they are raised only to lay eggs
Broilers: they are raised only for meat
b) this will depend if the hen will get an acess to a rooster then her eggs will be fertilized. If not then her eggs will not be fertilized.
c) If the hen mates a rooster eggs will be fertilized. If the hen does not mate a rooster eggs will be unfertilized
