The Best Farmer

My father is a very hardworking man. He is working like there is no tomorrow. He is
farming from sun up to sun down. He is planting rice and vegetables in our field. At this time
of the year, he is waiting for harvest time. Last year, he was looking for a bountiful harvest
but typhoon hit our place and destroyed our crops. It was the time that he was feeling so
devastated. This year, he will be expecting good produce since the palay grains are looking
so good. For my father, the best reward for all his efforts is seeing his plants grow well. His
love for farming is unwavering. If there is an award for the best farmer in the world, my father
will definitely win the race.​
