The nervous system coordinates with the integumentary system in a way where the brain receives sensory neurons from integumentary system, then sends back motor neurons to react in a particular situation. Example; you are cooking then you accidentally touched the hot pot, then the skin (integumentary system) sends sensory neurons to the brain to tell it that your hands feel hurt due to what happened. In return, when the brain finally receives the message, it will send motor neuron (message) to the part of your body to react or give a certain response to where it hurts.
