Since x can be easily eliminated, just "add" the two equations together and cancel x... therefore finding y. Too lazy to input everything so here's a picture of the answer. To find x it should be -, not + so x = -8. (sorry for the erasure & hope you can understand my writing! :) )

6y-2x=10
6y+3x=-30
________
-5x=-40
x=-8
3y-(-8)=5
3y=-8+5
3y=-3
y=-1
Checking:
3(-1)-(-8)=5
-3+8=5
5=5
2(-1)+(-8)=-10
-2-8=-10
--10=-10
