TRUTH OR FALSE
1. An ethical journalist does not write in detail new stories which only serve to awaken interest in his readers, especially in cases involving sex.
2. An ethical Journalist will accept a bribe to write or suppress a new story. He will not write or use his position to obtain favors for himself or members of his family.
3. An ethical journalist always comforts himself with dignity, right manners and good conduct.
4. An ethical journalist will not reveal confidential information given to him in the exercise of his profession.
5. Reports only the fair and honest methods in gathering the news.
6. Names below 17 years old who run afoul from the law, especially if it is the first time, should be suppressed, so as to give such first offenders a chance to reform.
7. An ethical journalist should exercise very great restraint in publishing reports which would adverse effect a person's privacy or his private reputation.
8. A student publication is a media outlet such as a newspaper, magazine, television show, or radio station produced by students at an educational institution.
9. RA 7079 or the campus journalism Act of 1992 mandated Department of Education to "conduct and implement program in various aspects of journalism."
