Tsunami is a Japanese word pronounced as "soo-nah-me" which means 'wave in the harbor" Sometimes, it is misnamed as "tidal waves". 2. NOT all fault movement undemeath the sea will create a tsunami. 3. Earth is composed of four layers namely the crust, mantle, inner core, and outer core. 4. The crust, as the outermost layer of the earth. 5. Earthquakes produce tsunami if a fault suddenly moves on ground, you get an earthquake 6. Typhoons are more violent than hurricanes. 7. Typhoons come from warm waters in the ocean. 8. High atmospheric stability could also be one of the factors in the typhoon formation 9. When all of the heat and air from the ocean flow toward the eye, it creates typhoon. 10. Tropical Upper Tropospheric Trough (TUTT) could also be a cause of typhoon formation.​
