This module was designed and written with you in mind. It is here to help you master the addition and subtraction of fractions. The scope of this module is adding and subtracting simple fractions and mixed numbers without or with regrouping.
The module is divided into two part (2) lessons, namely:
Lesson 1. Addition and Subtraction of Fractions Without Regrouping
Lesson 2. Addition and Subtraction of Fractions With Regrouping
After going through this module, you are expected to:
1. Visualize and represent addition and subtraction of fractioins using bar models
2. add and subtract simple fractions and mixed numbers without regrouping;
3. add and subtract simple fractions and mixed numbers with
regrouping.
4. solve problems involving simple fractions and mixed numbers with or without regrouping.
