. There are 8 teams in IPL.Each team plays with another team twice.
Winning team gets 2 points,losing team gets 0 points each match.No match ends with drawn or tie.Top 4 team advanced to semifinal.Then winning team of semifinal play against each other in final.

And every team can play 14 matches in league matches,thus It plays only 2 matches in league matches and we can say that It must a place in top four teams in points table to reach semi-final.
SO:)
(i)Every team Should win minimum 8matches or have something 15 to 18points to reach Semifinal.
(ii)If a team has no place in top four teams in points tally .It can not play semi final.
(iii)There is no limit but after get the points to play semifnal he can play 2 or 3 matches to win IPL trophy.(And matches as semifinal and leminator match)
(iv)Except Final match a team can win all matches..
