Solution:-
Probability means the chance of getting result. And it lies between 0 & 1
It cannot be in negative.
P (E) = No.of favourable outcomes/Total no.of outcomes = n (E)/n (S)
Total no.of outcomes = No.of red + blue + green + white marbles.
Total no.of outcomes = 6 + 8 + 17 + 10
Total no.of outcomes = 14 + 27
Total no.of outcomes = 41
No.of favorable outcomes = No.of blue marbles + No.of red marbles
No.of favorable outcomes = 8 + 6
No.of favorable outcomes = 14
P (E) = n (E)/n (S)
P (E) = 14/41
