The lessons we take from failure can be fundamental to later success. Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
There was a time when I failed a math test in high school. I had studied hard and thought I knew the material, but I froze up during the exam and couldn't remember anything. It was a tough blow to my confidence, and I felt like a failure. However, I learned that failure is not the end of the world. I realized that I needed to work harder and smarter in order to succeed. I started asking my teacher for extra help and practicing more outside of class. Eventually, I was able to recover and even excelled in math in college. This experience taught me that failure is not permanent and that with perseverance and hard work, I could overcome any obstacle.
