The difference in the measure of 2 complementary angles is 12 degree .Find the measure of the angle

Let the one angle be x
other angle is 90 - x as complementary angle
Now
$x - (90 - x) = 12 \\ x - 90 + x = 12 \\ 2x = 12 + 90 \\ 2x = 102 \\ x = 102 \div 2 \\ x = 51$
So one angle is 51
Other angle is 90-51 =39

Therefore,
x + x - 12 = 90 ( sum of complimentary angles is 90 )
= 2x = 90 + 12
= x = 102/2
x = 51, therefore, angles are 51 and 51-12 = 39
