The dance consists of two bamboo poles between 6 to 12 feet held by
clappers who kneel or sit on the ground. Like while the tinikling bird
would avoid the bamboo traps, the dancers do the same. As the
bamboo pole is being slid, beat or tapped by produce clapping sounds
as a percussive instruments.
Singles Tinikling Dance
1. Hop on your right foot.
2. Hop another time on the right foot. Perform
these steps between both poles:
3. Step on the left foot.
4. Step on the right foot.
5. Hop on the left foot outside the poles.
6. Hop again on the left foot outside both poles. ...
7. Step on your right foot.
8. Step on your left foot.​
