Helloowww the future one of the present ! Let the present age of the son be 'x'. Then, the age of the father = 2x+10 Before 20 yrs, age of the father = 5×( age of the son ) (2x+10-20) = 5×(x-20) or, 2x-10 = (5x - 100) or, 2x-5x = -100 + 10 or, -3x = -90 or, x = -90/-3 or, x = 30 i.e. age of son = 30yrs and age of father = 2x + 10 = 2×30 + 10 = 60 + 10 = 70yrs

Let the present age of the son be 'x'.
Then, the age of the father = 2x+10
Before 20 yrs,
age of the father = 5×( age of the son )
(2x+10-20) = 5×(x-20)
or, 2x-10 = (5x - 100)
or, 2x-5x = -100 + 10
or, -3x = -90
or, x = -90/-3
or, x = 30
i.e. age of son = 30yrs
and age of father = 2x + 10 = 2×30 + 10 = 60 + 10 = 70yrs
Hope you are satisfied!
