Take an opaque ceramic bowl, a coin and some modelling clay. Fix the coin at the base of the bowl with a small bit of clay. Stand at some distance from the bowl. Are you able to see the coin? Now pour water in the bowl and observe from the same distance. What do you see? What is the reason for this?
