Super Typhoon Yolanda (international name, Haiyan) is known as one of the most intense and powerful tropical cyclones recorded in meteorological history. It made landfall in the Philippines on November 8, 2013. Among the provinces devastated was Leyte, specifically Tacloban City. Faced with Yolanda, the people were very vulnerable. Thousands died; the city was wiped out. Given the intensity of Yolanda, analyse and criticize the man-made factors that aggravated the disaster.​
