On her way, she felt thirsty and told the driver to stop the car near a hut. She saw an old woman sitting idle outside. Julia asked her for water.

The woman called her inside and Julia followed her. She noticed a defunct sewing machine lying on the floor. On the edge of the hut, a young woman was teaching a group of children. The blackboard was in a decrepit state and books and copies were mellowed and scattered. Julia asked the woman, ' How much they pay you?' The young woman laughed and said, ' I don't charge anything. They are poor and so am I. But I want to see them educated. I earlier used to earn money by sewing machine but....' She stopped. Julia what she wants to say. She had water and departed from the hut.

The next day, Julia requested her parents to buy a sewing machine, some books, a blackboard, and some stationery. She said to her parents, ' I don't desire iPod anymore'. Julia had a change of heart. Julia took her parents to the hut. She handed over all the material to the old woman, who was overwhelmed with tears. She thanked Julia for her humane behavior. Julia felt a divine pleasure in helping the needy woman. This was true, the best birthday of her life.
