1. A good approximate range of wavelengths for the visible spectrum is 400 nm to 700 nm (1 nm = 10−9 m) although most humans can detect light just outside that range. Since wavelength is inversely proportional to frequency the color sequence gets reversed.
2. Red has the least frequency with the least energy and Violet has the highest frequency and the highest energy.
