To each and every person who is present here today, good morning. I've been thinking a lot about the saying "Cut the greed, not the green" today, and I'd like to share a few of my thoughts with you. Over the course of history, humans have evolved into extremely greedy beings who have had no compunctions about stealing whatever they want from this planet and exploiting it for their own benefit. It is time for us to put an end to our greed and give Mother Nature the opportunity to heal herself. Greed on the part of humans is the root cause of all of the environmental problems that we are witnessing in the world today, and this greed will eventually put our own lives in danger if it is not curbed. It is time for us to realise that every entity that resides on this planet has the same right to live as we do and that we are responsible for playing a part in the maintenance and defence of this right. It is imperative that we put an end to the thoughtless exploitation of nature and work to preserve ecological balance.
As a result, we need to put an end to our greed and work to protect the natural environment, the green.
