Team A and Team B ore playing tug
of war. In Team A, all 4 members
exerted 30 N of lorce each to pull
the rope. In Team B. 2 members
exerted 40 N of force each while the
other two exerted 20 N each. What
is the net torce acting on the rope

Because the two groups in each side pulling the rope with the exact same amount of force...
How?
Team A consist of 4 members and exerted 30 N of force...
So, 4×30 N = 120 N
Now for team B the two stronger member exerted a force of 40 N of force and the other two exerted 20 N of force...
So, 2×40 N = 80 N, 2×20 N = 40 N
So, 80 N + 40 N = 120 N
The same team exerting an exact same amount of force which is 120 N...
So, 120 N - 120 N = 0 N
That's how the net force turns into 0
