Just You And Me!
You and I are sitting on the terrace..this cold windy night under the naked sky..full of stars..shining brighter than ever. 4 Budweiser s down. Magnum..to be precise..each of us. Both drunk enough. By enough..I mean..to the point where we can no longer pretend to be someone we are not. The point where we start telling each other what we feel about life..our friends..our irritating siblings and relatives..how life is a bi.tch etc. So to cut short.. we both start blabbering and bitc.hing... about all these stuffs.
I am sober enough to listen to you..and you..about to pa.ss out.While you are searching for words to describe how life is ruthless..how friendships hurt..I am just looking at you..and the ways how you are getting irritated by that one flick of your hair which is coming up on your forehead often..everytime as the wind blows. "What??"
"Umm..nothing.."
"I am the only one who is just puking up things since hours..why don't you speak up now..about your secrets..? I wanna know..", You ask..laying your head on my shoulder.. trying hard to keep your eyes opened.
I smile..and look at you. "Are you drunk enough..?"
"Drunk enough..??"
"Drunk enough to forget everything I say..so that we have no regrets later on..?"

" The day you will be wise and sober to know what my eyes try to tell you each day..the day I have that courage to gather words to explain how you make me skip my heart beat just with a candid smile of yours..how beautiful you look with that messy hair and unpolished face.. I promise..I will speak up.." While saying this..I look back at you. You are already asleep..grabbing my hand the tightest way possible..adjusting your head on my shoulder..snoring a li'l.
Holding your head as soft as I can with one hand..and your side - waist with the other..I place your head on my lap to make you sleep comfortably.
I gaze at you..at your moon kissed face. Even this silent cold windy night can never be as soothing as this moment I am having with you presently..the moment which can never be snatched away from me..the moment of which I am the only witness. "Good night..", whispering..I smile again.
