Time-order Text types in terms of structure and language.

Some paragraphs or text are developed through logical order - time or chronological orderand a sequence-of-importance.

In time or chronological order, the sentence is arranged in the order in which the events they
described happened. This text is called recount.

Transition/ signal words that may be used in these texts include first, next, then, finally, to name a few.

In sequence-of importance, the ideas are built from the least important detail to the most
important detail. Or from the most important detail. Or from the most important to the least
important. This is called sequence
