29th july 1868

Yesterday while going through the field with my daresome soldeirs I walked upon a farmer and his animals. The farmer couldn't recognize who I was even though my soldiers followed me. Even though I was slightly offended, I pretended not to be king. He asked me three questions, "What is your occupation?", " Whose servant are you?", "what do you do?" . All his questions seemed so precise, that  I didn't even want to admit myself as king. I didn't answer his questions and walked away. Later at night I thought these questions in my head over and over again, what is my job?, whose servant am I? where do I  do? I couldn't answer these questions even though they seemed very simple to my advisors and my dear queen. But to me, I don't know why seemed so difficult. So this morning while I was getting dressed at my chamber I found my answers! I told my soldiers to take me to the exact same farm we had visited yesterday, and I met the farmer once again. He again asked me those questions. I looked at him and answered him calmy " My occupation is your king, I am gods servant, And I try making this kingdom a better place,    thats what I do. The farmer looked at me and bursted out laughing. I looked at my soldiers in confusion. Slowly the farmer started taking off his veil and looked at me square in the face. I looked at him in suprise. It was nobody other than the emperor! He looked at me and said " I did all this to see what type of king are you, would you try to kill me for being disobedient, would you order your soldiers to take me away or would you answer me. It seems that you were quite the opposite of what I was expecting, You truly are a king for the better"

Then without saying anything the emperor left. I was stunned, but retrned to my palace nonetheless. Even though his words weren't that much it made my heart warm with joy. Enough for today.
