Friction can create torque, too! When the dancer pushes the floor one way, the friction between the leg and the floor creates the push the other way. So double the mass, and the gravitational pull will double too!
While a dancer is dancing there are always outsides forces acting on the body that help the dancer do the movement correctly. Gravity helps the dancer stay grounded by pushing them downwards.
