Another reason is some students needs to get away with there thoughts or worries especially after they failed in a quiz or exam. It is good for the students to have fun with games or watch a funny videos to lighten their mood. They can even talk to their parents or family about it to release emotions like frustration. Besides, that's the definition of break time, its purpose to take a break after sitting in a classroom for hours, processing information and storing it into their heads. A little time with mobile phones at break time is not that bad.
