Imagine a series connection with 3 bulbs. As it's series connection, the negative terminal of bulb 1 is connected to positive terminal of the bulb 2, then the negative terminal of bulb 2 is connected to positive terminal of bulb 3.
As we remove one bulb (For example bulb 2) it removes electrical connection between bulhb 1 and 3. hence circuit will not be complete.
Hence none of the bulbs in series will glow.
In simple terms when we remove a single bulb from a series, No Bulb Glows
