LOCANT'S RULE
while applying LOCANT'S RULE keep 2 points in mind
→ You have to do numbering of PCC [ Parent Carbon Chain] in such a order that you get more substituents. You will do numbering of carbons from the direction substituents are closer.This is called as LOWEST LOCANT'S RULE
→If you get 2 /3 / 4 PCC having same number of carbon, then MUST remember that you have to chose PCC having largest number of substituents attached.[you can see example in attached image]
