____1. Chocolate starts from a tree called a cacao. This tree grows in equatorial regions, especially in places such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia. The cacao tree produces a fruit about the size of a small pineapple. Inside the fruits are the tree’s seeds. They are also known as cocoa beans.

____ 3. There are four types of sentences according to purpose. These are declarative or the telling sentence, interrogative or the asking sentence, imperative or the command/request, and the exclamatory sentence.
____ 4. Rainbows are spectacular rays of color. Sunlight looks white, but it’s really made up of different colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. The sun makes rainbows when white sunlight passes through raindrops. The raindrops act like tiny prisms. They bend the different colors in white light, so the light spreads out into a band of colors that can be reflected back to you as a rainbow.
____ 5. Lightning is an electric current. Within a thundercloud way up in the sky, many small bits of ice (frozen raindrops) bump into each other as they move around in the air. All of those collisions create an electric charge.
