Me and my elder sister aren't very close. Maybe due to that fact that she is 7 years older than me or maybe because she is my step-sister. In a family you can't really avoid conflict especially when it refers to jealousy. As being the younger one I should respect my sister's words because she is older than me. But since I'm a kid I can't really control my pride. She sometimes gets jealous of me since I'm spoiled by my Parents, especially my Dad. My parents really wants us to get along with each other; I don't blame them, it's hard for them to witness me and my sisters reluctancy in achieving a simple conversation. She's leaving the city to find a new place where she can master her academics. Even though we argue, she's still the person who held me and protected me when I was young. I went up to her the day before she leaves with a confident mindset and asked little of her time for a small conversation. During our talked about we each other's thoughts and said apologies and feelings. When the day came we both traded goodbyes and told her that I never thought of her as a step sister but a real sister whom shoulders I can cry on.
