read the quotations below,in one to two sentences write your own opinion or understanding on the space provided. 1."A child educated only in school is an uneducated child.''
Because if a child is only educated in school, their way of thinking will only be limited to what the school has taught. Outside school, parents, friends, relatives can teach you important values and beliefs you might eventually pick up.
This quote is important to me because it explains the need for parents to take an interest in their children. Occasionally, you will come across a parent who blames a teacher for something their child lacks, when the truth of the situation is the teachers and parents are supposed to be a team. Parents must teach their children first. If children are not read to at home or if parents do not show an interest in their school life, the children are not going to be interested in learning at home or at school. Also, parents have to set the foundation of what is expected of the children at home and in society, there is more for children to learn than what is being taught in school systems.
