Yes bocoz if mag. lines intersect then there will be two dirn. at one point which is not possible so he is correct

Yes, Ravi is correct. Magnetic field lines are curved closed loops around the magnet and two magnetic field lines never intersect each other because field lines are nothing but showing the north direction. So if a magnetic compass was kept on the point of intersection of the two magnetic lines then it would show two different north directions which is obviously never possible. Thus two magnetic field lines never intersect each other.
