When rasgullas are kept inside the sugar syrup, they appear to be enlarged, because they
absorb the sugar syrup
through the pores present in them.
The particles of sugar syrup are heavy and densely packed.
Therefore, they require more space.
This result in enlargement of rasgullas and make them appear heavy.
