→ SOLID : solid come from all sizes that it is hard or soft, smooth or rough. Have a definite shape and volume. Like a tiny bread crumb or as big as a mountain. That it is hard to push or change shape, particles are compact, close together and almost impossible to break through.
→ LIQUID : liquids usually have smooth surface but do not have specific size, as it is much easier to move through and are difficult to push. It will fill the bottom of a container and takes the shape of the container, held in. Particles are spread more.
→ GAS : gas cannot be held, and has no shape but it can fill na entire container, as the particles move it takes any size or shape. It is the easier to push and move through. Particles are more spread out and move all the time in different directions.
