Questions: 1.) How are earthquake epicenters distributed on the map? Where are earthquakes also located? 2.) How is the location of the earthquake epicenters related to where volcanoes are located? 3.) Give an example of a geologic event. Answone!
1.Most earthquake epicenter are concentrated in a narrow zone . Most of the earthquake epicenter are located at the edge of some continents like western region of north and south america. Earthquakes also surrounds the pacific plate.
2.Areas with volcanoes have earthquake epicenters because volcanic eruption or activity produces volcanic earthquake.
3.Examples of geological events include a single footprint, an earthquake, a series of volcanic eruptions, the formation of mountains (orogenies), the Great Oxidation Event (GOE) of 2.4-2.0 billion years ago and the Great Ordovician Biodiversification Event (GOBE) ~500 Ma.
