Activity 2: What Should I Do?
Directions: Read the scenario below and answer the questions that follow.
Bill decided to get a pet. He wanted to know whether a cat or dog would be a better pet for him. Bill read several books on dogs and cats to learn more about them. He decided that perhaps a dog would be a better pet for him. He called a friend who had a cat and a dog. He asked if he could borrow each of the pets for a week. During week 1, Bill borrowed the cat, during week 2, he borrowed the dog. At the end of second week, Bill made a list of the pros and cons of having each type of pet. When he examined the lists, he decided that a dog was the pet for him.

Yes. Bill has already had the thought that the dog is better than the cat. After his experiment, he has proven his hypothesis.
3. If you are in the situation of Bill, would you follow the same thing as what he did? Why?
In our generation, cats and dogs are really considered to be so different yet both the standard. It really actually depends on who the pet owner would be. I once went to my grandmother's house, she owns a cat and I own a dog. In comparing a cat to a dog, I think the dog would really be better because dogs can be caged and couldn't reach high places in which I know that cats aren't comfortable being in cages, their excetra smell a lot and it is easy for them to reach high places which means it'll be a struggle to get their hands away from human food.
