What do you think are the reason some businesses reached the state of bankruptcy? Explain your answer 3. You are an out-of-school youth and you have just finished your skill training of food preservation from TESDA. You are now planning to start a small home-based business using the skills that you learned, but you do not have enough funds to begin with. What will you do? Give some strategies you should be able to apply? 4. One day, your father brought one basket ripe guavas from the farm. Your family enjoyed eating it, and gave some to your neighbor. How would you apply your skills and knowledge in food preservation to preserve the fruits? 5. You have your grandparents at home, and you find difficult to please them. And all they can see is your wrongdoings. One day, your grandfather told you to cook rice for them, and there is no more rice. What will you do? Give some explanation to this situation? 6. You are a food specialist in a big company that owns a food processing business. The company processes fruits, meats, vegetables, and fish, then sell them locally and abroad. You were tasked by your production head to create several recipes that aims to preserve soursop or guyabano using different methods. Write down all the materials, ingredients and food processing utensils and equipment that you will be needing for each recipe. Make sure to classify the utensils and equipment based on the process of preservation 1-10 7. You conduct an interview with your grandparents. You let them talk about their significant experiences during their adult years and the changes that they are now experiencing as elderly. List down some pieces of advice can they give to young people who does not like the idea of getting old or is afraid of old age? 8. You are working in St. James hospital as a registered nutritionist-dietician. One of the elderly patients was referred to you by his doctor to consult about the appropriate diet for his health condition. He is 70 years old and is diagnosed of hypertension and diabetes. Create a weekly menu plan considering his age and health condition. Provide a brief explanation to the patient so that he would understand the dietary program that you will prescribe to him. Explain your answer? 9. In your own idea, how will you describe a safe and healthy working environment? Why is it important to provide a good working environment to the employees? Explain your answer. 10. You conduct an interview with an entrepreneur who owns a small business related to preserving food products. Find out the perks and difficulties of managing the business. Ask him or her about the food processes they are using for their products. How will you present your interview through a documentary clip featuring his or her business? Write down your explanation.​
