1. INTERVIEW METHOD
in this method,the researcher (interviewer) ask questions to the subject (interviewee) to gather data it can be done by any of the following means: face-to-face,via phone call, or video call.
FOCUS GROUP
Group interview. individuals share similar background or experiences
Advantages
a. Data obtained is rich in information.
b. Information is more accurate since the interviewer can elaborate questions while the interviewee may clarify his responses
Disadvantages
a. Difficult to do because of time constraints.
b. Most expensive to do.
c. Data analysis is difficult because the data collected are mostly qualitative in nature.
2. SURVEY METHOD
Unlike in the interview method where the questions are asked directly from the subjects, in survey and questionnaire method questions are written in paper and sent to the participants through a courier, e-mail or personal delivery.
Advantages
a. It can be given to a large group of individuals.
b. Saves more time.
c. Cheaper and more practical
Disadvantages
a Some questionnaires or survey forms are difficult to recover.
b. Some answers of the respondents are not reliable.
3. OBSERVATION METHOD
