Preparing the specimen

A.Add a drop of water over the specimen.

B.Lower the other edge of the cover slip until it rest on the water.

C.Place the specimen in the center of the glass slide in an upright position.

D.Position the cover slip at 45 degree with one side touching one edge of the water on the slide.
