Preparing the Specimen
a. Add a drop of water over the specimen.
b. Lower the other edge of the cover slip until it rest on the water,
c. Place the specimen in the center of the glass slide in an upright
position
d. Remove the bubbles by tapping the cover with the eraser-end of a
pencil.
e. Position the cover slip at 450 with one side touching one edge of the
water on the slide.​
