Which do you believe is important – individual freedom or the general welfare of society?
I believe both individual freedom and the general welfare of society are important. When individuals are able to exercise their own autonomy and agency, they are able to make decisions that are beneficial to themselves and to society as a whole. However, there needs to be a balance between individual freedom and the general welfare of society. If one is emphasized too much, it can lead to detrimental consequences for both individuals and society as a whole.
