PLEASE IM BEGGING YOU TO ANSWER THIS PLEASE IF U ARE SAYING THAT ITS ONLY 5 LANG NAMAN YUNG THANKS AND VOTE NO I WILL LIKE ALSO AND VOTE THE SOME OF UR ANSWER TO OTHER PEOPLE QUESTION PROMISE BUT NOT ALL MAYBE 5 OFF THEM OR 7
THINK FIRST IF ITS CORRECT WHE U ANSWER THIS
1) What feature of the ocean floor is shown at A?
2)Describe the process shown occurring at B and explain what results from this.
3)What happens to old oceanic crust as new molten material rises from the
mcantle?
The arrows on the figure shows the ocean floor is spreading from the ridge.
What are the two kinds of evidence that scientists found to support this idea?
(hint refer to your notes guide)
5) What process is shown occurring at C, and why does it occur?
6). Where would you expect to find the newest rock on the ocean floor?
Answers & Comments
Answer:
1. Mid ocean ridge
2. Sea floor spreading, a divergent boundary is causing older rock to be pushed out and the new rock is being formed closer to the ridge
3. the old oceanic crust will be subducted and destroyed into trenches
4.
5. Subduction, the oceanic crust slips under because it's denser than the continental crust
Can also form trenches
6. Sonar device
7. Oceanic Trench
8. Sea floor spreading
9. Subduction
10. Mid ocean ridge

try lang haha
Answer:
1. They are ocean ridges formed due to the divergence of the plates.
2. In B, a divergence of two plates is happening. Due to this, it will cause the ground to shake or simply put, it will cause an earthquake. Due to this earthquake, the ocean will be disturbed and will cause tsunamis to happen.
3. It will undergo a process that we call "subduction process". It will be subducted or will go down towards the mantle where the temperature is very hot. Because of this very hot temperature, the subducted oceanic crust will melt and form into magma. Because this magma is less dense, it will go back up again and will cause volcanic activities to happen.
4. Here in number 4, the questions told you to refer to your notes. I don't have an idea what your note says, so please check it nalang po. :)) Or if you're having a hard time finding it, you can ask help from me po. But for me, I would answer:
→ The Aging of Rock, Magnetic Strips
5. It is the subduction process where one plate moves under another and is forced to sink towards the mantle. This happens because in the convergence of plates, the denser plate would always sink under the other plate.
6. You will find the newest rock exactly/near/close at the site of seafloor spreading or ocean ridge.
7. Trench
8. Sea Floor Spreading
9. Subduction Process
10. Mid-ocean ridges/Ocean ridges
Hope this helps. Good luck with your studies! You can do it. :)
