See In our india the process of law making is in the hands of LCI and the law minister and central or state government. But if the government's law is not good for public and if anybody has problem with it so he or she can appeal on court or file a PIL in court to abolish the law. So, briefly point 1 says that supreme court is an independent authority it can change the law or advice the gov. to make the law.
