What are congruent triangles?
Congruent triangles are triangles that have exactly the same three angles and exactly the same three sides.
What are congruent squares?
Congruent squares are two squares that have the exact same shape and the exact same size.
If x equals 11cm
The area of the square:
Formula = L²
= (11cm)²
= 11cm × 11cm
= 121cm²
The area of the two squares = 121cm² × 2
= 242cm²
The area of the triangle:
Formula = ½ b × h
= ½ × 22cm × 11cm
= 11cm × 11cm
=121cm²
The area of the two triangles = 121cm² × 2
= 242cm²
Total area of shape = Area of squares + Area of triangles
= 242cm² + 242cm²
= 484cm² or 484 sq cm
Hope you have a nice day/afternoon/evening/night <3
