Answer:
First Aid is the treatment a person can offer to another in an immediate need. Whether it is an injury that has a clear visual of severity or it is something that can't be assessed just by looking at it. First Aid can be given by common passer-by's and medical professionals to prolong the survival or a person. An injury shouldn't be taken lightly even if it only shows minimal signs of effect on the person.
Examples of Injury:
1. Dislocation
2. Fractures
3. Sprains
4. Concussion
5. Muscle Injury
Who are the good first aiders?
• Student D- Since he made use of the present resources for first aid and immediately uses that to stop the bleeding arm.
• Student A- Since he is helping his classmate by controlling the bleeding and at the same time his calmness can affect the panicking of his injured classmate, thus make him also comply and be calm of the situation
• Student C- once he witnesses an accident on the stairs bringing the possibly injured person to the nearest clinic is important and a good move for someone. Though, if it is an accident that might involve a bone injury hurrying him to move might result in more injury.
Who are not the good First Aiders?
Student B- an unconscious person can't properly control his extremities therefore when you force an unconscious person to drink water it is either he or she won't swallow the water or it may result to choking.
Student E- other than his ability to calm his injured classmate, comforting words aren't necessary to address the situation. A first aid should be performed not to calm him of his pain.
